Just a couple of days after the X-Games the show goes on. It‘s time for the third and last stop of this years Dew Tour in Mt. Snow. Yesterday the event kicked off with the skopestyle prelimes. All riders fightes again for nine spots who would bring them into the finals. Already prequalified are Bobby Brown, Andreas Hatveit and Tom Wallish. The first who will follow them is Sammy Carlson who finished first in the prelims!
But let‘s first have a look at the course: It consists of a up box to gap to down box , an up box, the toyota truck box set uphill like a canon box, a small table, a down rail or down box option, and finally there are two big jumps.
As already mentioned Sammy Carlson was the man on top. Right behind Charles Gagnier, Alexis Godbout and Jf Houle took the places two and three. It was interesting to see there were not that many doubles thrown down. The riders seemed to focus again more on style and clean performances.
How you can see on the rankings below there are some big names in it, who could not survive the qualification. For exapmle there is a Simon Dumont who did a switch 900 and a switch 1080 in his run, which is not really what we expected after the X-Games! May be these guys are just tired or need some time off after the very filled timetable the last weeks.
Tomorrow there will be the big finals. It will be exciting to see who will be the overall winner of the Dew Tour 2009/2010. As soon as we have the results you will be able to find them right here on downdays.
