Become A Nine: These are the best videos

This year’s Become a Nine video contest has blown up! The organizers were swamped with a total of 75 video entries from around the world — boys and girls, skiers and snowboarders, all looking for their chance to win an invitation to the 2019 Audi Nines going down later this month in Sölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, Austria.

“The stoke is super high! We’ve been overwhelmed with the submissions we got,” exclaimed Audi Nines head honcho Nico Zacek. The level of entries is so high that he’s been asking other event athletes and insiders for their feedback on who should win, Zacek said. “It’s amazing to see the level, not just of the people we already knew, but also people we’ve never heard of before,” he added. “It’s just insane.”

While Zacek and his team are busy deliberating which lucky riders will make the cut, here’s a little sampling of some of the best entries. To see all of the Become A Nine submissions, head on over to the Audi Nines YouTube page. The winners will be announced next week, so stay tuned!
