Today’s Dew Tour livestream update: no skiing for you.
It already seemed a touch, shall we say “inconsiderate” when the Dew Tour didn’t even bother to list the women’s ski slopestyle and halfpipe semifinal events on their event schedule—much less bother to provide adequate coverage, much less a livestream of those events.
@DewTour why are the lady slope and pipe semis not on the schedule? https://t.co/csm5xCjTeY #DewTour

Today that unfortunate trend is continuing. The Dew Tour has cancelled the live stream of the women’s ski halfpipe finals (starting at 17:15 CET), further limiting the coverage of this event. The men’s ski halfpipe semifinals (starting at 20:00 CET) has also been shuffled off the livestream schedule, making today’s Dew Tour live stream a snowboarding-only affair.
Sorry Annalisa – looks like there will be no livestream for your event after all.
It’s understandable that scheduling and operating a live stream for a string of major competitions over a weekend is no easy task, and that not every event can expect equal coverage. But it’s disappointing to see important events like a halfpipe final being cut out of an already existing schedule that had seemingly been designed to provide time for it, and one sport receiving more coverage at the expense of another.
On Saturday and Sunday, you’ll still be able to watch the women’s and men’s ski slopestyle events via livestream—we hope. Check here for the updated livestream schedule and other Dew Tour news.
