Today the FWT announced that stops in Hakuba, Japan, and Kicking Horse, Canada, have been cancelled. The news comes as countries restrict travel and shutter resorts in response to a surge in Covid cases. Hakuba and Kicking Horse will return to the tour in 2022; both venues have already confirmed their participation next season.

Meanwhile, events in Ordino-Arcalis, Fieberbrunn, and Verbier will proceed as planned. Further, the FWT is looking to replace the cancelled event on mountains closer to home. They’ve been in contact with several European resorts, searching for a host to replace the events in Japan and Canada. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear more!
