The skiers have shredded, the judges have deliberated and the results are official: Alex Hall is the winner of the X Games Real Ski 2021 contest!

With lots of backcountry shots, the first woman in the mix, and even a random park jump shot (why, Ferdy? why?) this year’s Real Ski contest was something of a hot mess. Even so, the cream still rose to the top—the cream, in this case, being the mind-blowing edit submitted by Alex Hall and filmer Etienne Merel (of Faction Skis media fame).

Coming in second was the cinematic masterpiece presented by Alex Hackel and Per “Peyben” Hägglund (watch the silver medal video), while Tanner Hall and filmer Leland McNamara secured the bronze (watch the bronze medal video).
