There’s a certain quality of permanence to the snow there, the land where the inhabitants have traditionally carved their dwellings from it. No fear of it melting, or changing at all really, from its concrete state. While that does make it a little unusual for a skiing destination it makes for a great place to lose yourself to innumeral first descents and a culture like no other.
