Even the best go down hard sometimes. This kicker rail served up one hell of a slam for Gus Kenworthy, but he came back with a vengeance.

Last April, Gus Kenworthy headed to his home ski resort of Telluride, Colorado for a private video shoot on a custom “kicker” rail (similar to the one that Jesper Tjäder skied so spectacularly in his “Unrailistic” edit).

Gus’s first attempts at the kicker rail didn’t go so smoothly – on the first day he knocked himself out with a concussion and two lost teeth. But three days later, Gus was back at it, bagging a bevy of tricks on this one-of-a-kind feature.
