LJ Strenio had an idea for this year’s X Games Real Ski contest: he wanted to film lines linking up multiple urban features. Unfortunately, this classic skate-style way of shooting didn’t jive well with Real Ski’s brisk 90-second format.

“Took a chance and tried something completely different,” LJ explained in an Instagram post. “But with 90 seconds you have to cut clips and forget about flow.” Thankfully, O’Neill has just dropped a longer version of LJ and filmer Jake Strassman’s project, “with a couple unseen clips, but more importantly cut how Jake wanted it.”
