And to think that for a minute there, we thought there weren’t any more street crews in the Alps…
As we were putting together our Winter 2018/19 magazine this fall, we noticed a relative dearth of urban ski photos coming out of the Alps compared to years past. What’s going on? we wondered. Is no one skiing the streets anymore?
Thankfully, Vincent Skretteberg’s “Loose Connection” is here to prove us wrong with its loose collection (get it?) of shredders from Switzerland and Norway hustling hard in the streets—mostly in Switzerland, looks like. We’ve got some high-quality maneuvers from Swiss coreboys like Till Matti, Daniel Loosli, Sämi Ortlieb and Andrin Tgetgel; unexpected street bangers from contest jock Johan Berg and Kryptoskier aka Eirik Moberg; and a nasty closing segment from Siver Voll.
