The latest Kore Story from Head Skis, “Take Two” features 2022 Freeride World Tour champion Jess Hotter.

A 29-year-old from Ohakune, New Zealand, Jess worked as a ski patroller before her debut on the Freeride World Tour in 2016. Her rookie year saw her get off to a strong start on the tour, finishing in fourth overall.

However, the coronavirus pandemic put a damper on Jess’s freeride ambitions. Due to New Zealand’s two-year lockdown, Jess was unable to participate on the tour in 2021. Last season, however, she came back with a vengeance to claim the title of FWT overall champion.

“Take Two” documents a trip that Jess took to northern British Columbia in the midst of her 2022 contest season with a crew of fellow Head athletes and FWT competitors including Blake Marshall, Abel Moga and Ian Morrison.
