silvaplana.chSilvaplana is looking forward to the first edition of the “Winter Opening” on November 25th and 26th, 2023. For the season kick-off at Corvatsch, Silvaplana is offering a colourful program that will delight young and old: Freestyle action in the center of the village, live concert, DJs, food specials and the Kids Snow Village – Silvaplana will rock this weekend!
SILVAPLANA ROCKS THE RAIL (Saturday, 25.11.) – An unusual sight for the audience, as the freestylers make their way through the heart of the village. Along the Alte Julier Street, feature after feature lines up, which snowboarders and freeskiers tackle. A spectacular backdrop that is also new for the riders. Corvatsch ambassador Nicolas Huber and Jeremy Denda will be there, among many other riders. Registration for interested riders opens mid-October. It’s all about fame and honor and a total of CHF 2.000 in prize money, while having a good time.
LIVE CONCERT – Naomi Lareine takes over the reins on Saturday evening on the music stage. The singer from Zurich is considered one of the most promising voices in Switzerland and inspires with her sophisticated, R&B-tinged songs. Party people continue at the afterparty in Silvaplana until morning breaks.
SNOW KIDS VILLAGE – The little ones have the opportunity to make their first attempts on one or two boards in the Snow Kids Village. The experienced teachers of FRESK Freestyle Academy make sure that the fun factor is high.
Corvatsch Snowpark is opening its doors the same weekend, known for its premium features. The Progression Days scheduled until mid-December, attract numerous international freestylers. Many of them will attend the Snowboard, Freestyle & Freeski World Championships 2025 in Engadine.
As part of the Silvaplana Winter Opening weekend, FRESK is offering freestyle lessons also on the mountain at Corvatsch Park for all kids who want to learn their first basic tricks.
