Jib League at Woodward Copper and season three wraps up with a mega rail session, crowing the week’s winners.

Wrapping up its third season, Jib League continues to pursue and impressively execute its original idea – to provide an anti-contest contest that encourages creativity, promotes freedom of expression and represents the true philosophy of freeskiing. The peer-judged jam session format strips the contest back to the roots of skiing – a session with friends.

The success can be measured in the vibes that the edits are portraying, the expansion and longevity of the event and the fact that riders are willing to travel across oceans to make their mark.

The results of the week’s voting were announced and for the first time an open jam qualifier took the win in the form of the unknown young talent Lainey Belle Steen – who edged out Olivia Asselin by one point.

On the men’s side, winning his own event for the first time, Ferdi Dahl was voted the winner at the end of the week.

More than just a contest though, Jib League continues to uncover new talent, giving a bigger platform to riders such as Alais Develay and Pierre Emile Rochat, who otherwise might not have the opportunity.

Hopefully Jib League can continue to go from strength to strength. Long live the League!
