Behind every good hip hop track there is almost always a great soul sample: From Mos Def ripping Aretha Franklin, to Biggie reworking Mtume or MF Doom spitting on Sade. But it’s rare that behind a good freerider is an even better slopestyle skier.

In building this edit, Patrick Ring has highlighted that both can be true. Colby’s ability to ski spines and steep faces, while also being at the top of the FIS slopestyle rankings, is truly mind-blowing and deserves admiration.
