There are many events in skiing, but few can match the vibe of Kimbo Sessions. The mastermind and organizer, Kim Boberg, has been doing it for over a decade now, and it’s no surprise that the 10th edition was a special one.

It almost seems impossible to capture the feeling of the little heaven that Kläppen Ski Resort turns into every spring, but Björn Eklund did an incredible job. His final recap of Kimbo Sessions 2026 might be the closest and most honest look behind the scenes—from the famous and delicious Kimbo Kitchen, to the amazing Kläppen Snowpark, the dedicated shape crew working tirelessly while skiing as much as possible, and even the top-secret concert for Kim that went down on the final night. And we can’t forget to give flowers to fellow filmer Ante Olofsson as well.

Although the event feels about as far from a competition as possible and everyone shreds for themselves, there are still some awards to be given out, with MVP titles for both men and women voted by the riders at the end of the week.
Manon Loschi, fresh off her win at Natural Selection Ski in Alaska, might be better known as a freerider, but make no mistake—she’s got game in the park too. Manon was lacing hand drags, butters, smooth transitions, and technical tricks all week long, rightfully claiming the title of women’s MVP.
On the men’s side, Elias Syrjä came in as a late addition to the crew after qualifying through the very first Kimbo Open the week before. He was unstoppable the entire session—skiing nonstop, going big on the hip and various transfers, and getting creative all over the park, making him the clear pick for the majority of riders.
