Men's Slopestyle

After taking top seed in the qualifying round with a dominant score of 97.00, Alex Hall followed up in the finals with a second-run score of 95.50 to edge out his US teammate Nick Goepper for the win. A-Hall's winning run included a switch right 270 tap on to pretzel 450 out; a left 270 on, front swap, pretzel 450 out; and a monstrous switch left 270 on, blind swap, front 630 out in the rail section. In the jumps, he delivered a switch right double cork 1080 double japan and a switch left double cork 1440 mute.

"I'm so stoked," said Alex after the win, which came at the end of a long day on the mountain. "I think speaking for everyone, we’re a little tired right now. We got on the lift at like 7:45 this morning, so we all just pushed through and made it happen. It got a little dark on the rails, but the jumps stayed nice. I'm just hyped to lay it down. My body was feeling tired, so I kind of surprised myself."

Women's Slopestyle

On the women's side, Estonia's Kelly Sildaru locked in the win on her first run. It was her second straight World Cup slopestyle win for the season, after cleaning up in Stubai, Austria in October. Sildaru lined up a front swap, front 270 out; switch on, front swap to forward; and a big front 630 out of the cannon in the rail section, before bagging a switch left 1080 mute and a switch right 900 blunt in the jumps.

"My baggage got lost and I haven't done any training, only the warmups before the qualis and the finals," said Sildaru. "So I'm happy that I was able to put a good run down."
