European Skier of the Year 2025: The Finals

Women’s Final: Mathilde Gremaud vs. Manon Loschi
Two previous ESOTY winners (Mathilde in 2021, Manon in 2024) face off in this year’s finals. In 2025 Mathilde maintained her competitive edge on the international circuit, defending her World Championship title and also releasing a documentary with Red Bull, She Who Flies. Manon, meanwhile, made her mark by winning the inaugural Natural Selection Ski event, and she also released a personal video project, Endorphin.
Men’s Final: Tormod Frostad vs. Martin Bender
This year’s men’s final is another freestyle vs. freeride showdown! Tormod Frostad spread his signature style thick across the freeski spectrum, clipping for Capeesh’s Catpiss and Toma 1.5, Faction’s Sugar Bowl and at the Jib League while remaining a contant podium threat on the Big Air & Slopestyle circuit. Martin Bender won the Val Thorens stop and took second at the Georgia Pro en route to a second place overall finish on the Freeride World Tour. On the video side, he dropped the captivating short FEEL and helped Team Gori to a win at Camptastic Voyage.
