The Fall/Winter 2021 Ski Collection from Peak Performance is a love letter to the community. Developed with the expertise and feedback of the company’s team riders, the collection shows Peak Performance’s ongoing commitment to bold design as well as uncompromising functionality and sustainability. This week we take a look at a new entry to the line-up: the Vertixs Jacket and Pants.
Made with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent treament and partially recycled fibers, the Vertixs Insulated 2L Jacket is a relaxed-fit jacket suitable for freeskiing in any weather. The 10K waterproofing and 10K breathability-rated HIPE fabric provides adequate protection from the elements, while the 4-way stretch zone on the back offers increased mobility. All the bells and whistles you’d expect from Peak Performance are in the package: taped seams, a fleece chin guard, pit vents, wrist gaiters and plenty of pockets where you need them. Last but not least is the Vertixs’ unique touch of style: interchangeable velcro patches that you can mix and match to give your jacket a one-of-a-kind flair.
In bright citrine you´ll have no problem sticking out of the crowd.
Put on a happy face with the Vertixs´ interchangeable Velcro patches.
Matching the Vertixs Jacket, the Vertixs Insulated 2L pants come with a 4-way stretch insert at the knees for optimal mobility and the same PFC-free waterproofing treatment and partially recycled fabrics. There are loops to integrate with the jacket’s snow skirt keep you snug and dry, removable and adjustable suspenders, and the always-important cuff reinforcement to limit the inevitable wear and tear at the bottom hem. The half-leg ventilation zips run along the outside seams, and of course, there are more patches to play with.
Team tested, team approved.
