Orage brings back freestyle-specific outerwear with SHIN BANG

October 22, 2026

Baggy fits, loud colour-blocking and proper park rat energy. Orage is going back to its roots with SHIN BANG, a new park and pipe capsule launching today.

If you remember the days of Phil Casabon suits, oversized jackets and early-2000s park skiing, this one’s probably going to hit a nerve.

Orage is officially getting back into freestyle-specific outerwear with SHIN BANG, a limited capsule that digs into the brand’s archive to bring back the fits, colours and attitude of the era that helped shape modern freeskiing.

Rather than simply reissuing old gear, Orage has taken inspiration from its early-2000s catalogues, team photos and original samples, rebuilding those designs with modern fabrics and construction. The result is a line made specifically for park and pipe skiing, with relaxed cuts designed for grabs, presses and pipe airs.

“We didn’t want a costume or a straight reissue. We pulled the pieces we remembered seeing on the hill, then rebuilt them with the patterns, fabrics and construction we use today,” says Frederic Dorais, Orage’s Chief Creative Officer.

For Orage athlete Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, the collection brings a childhood dream full circle: “I grew up watching those parts and dreaming about that gear. Riding SHIN BANG feels like the jackets I wanted when I was twelve, except they actually work.”

After recently bringing its wider outerwear collection back to European shoppers, Orage is now making a more direct statement about the kind of skiing that helped build its name.

You can check out the whole Orage collection at their EU online store, or find local dealers here.
