If you have ever had the unpleasant pleasure of a knee injury you know how hard it is to come back and commit to skiing to 100% again. Connor Clayton did not only have one, but two knee injuries. With dedication, passion and most and for all hard work Connor made his way back onto his skis. We salute you man. This is one hell of a season edit!
I’ve had kind of a rough past two years ski wise. With blowing my right knee out once in 2015, and then re-tearing the same knee the following year in 2016, it was questionable whether or not skiing was still worth it. After months on months of rehab, I got the okay to get back on my skis this past January, and while I was scared shitless of hurting my knee again everyday I was skiing, I managed to have one of the best seasons of my life. I figured I’d call this my ‘comeback season’ as I never thought I would really come back into skiing right where I left off. I can’t thank my family and friends enough for the constant and continued support that helped me get over my injuries, and I cannot wait to get back on my planks this season for another great winter with many more to come.
