3rd QParks Tour Stop, Snowpark Gstaad

Around 35 riders from 6 different countries fought an extremely tough battle at the much-desired contest crown of the 3th QParks Tour Stop of the Bernese Oberland region. David Mahning and his shape crew had all hands full every day to tower up a qualitative and creative contest setup! The judges as well as the spectators were impressed by the solid tricks and stylish runs of the finalists who literally heated up the scene!

Ready, Shreddy, GO
It’s about 9’o clock in the morning and the QParks crew is ready for the riders registration: Already from the distance you can see the long queue of freeskiers exchanging their starting fee for their numbers. The first riders are already preparing for their runs at the snowpark and are swapping tips and tricks to guarantee a top performance. After the riders meeting, the sun has finally found its way to the Snowpark Gstaad. A last training run and everyone was like: LET’S GET IT ON!

The Contest’s On
As usual, freeskiers got the chance to register either for the men, women, or the Groms category – a Multijib Obstacle, a Down Tube, a C-Rail and a C-Box were ready for the riders to prove their freestyle skills and compete in front of the judges around head judge Marco Zumoberhaus. Apart from a considerable cash price of 3600 CHF in total, loads of goodies from Anon, Amplifi and QParks are waiting for the best riders. Also on board was the already familiar QParks Can Knockdown – shred-heads and their fan club get the chance to win additional prizes.
