If you’re somewhat new to the freeski scene, you may know Jacob Wester as “one of those Chamonix guys” exclusively skiing “you fall, you die” lines. But before he started wrangling with the steeps, Jacob was an influential young freestyle star who helped usher in the age of double corks in Big Air skiing. Now he’s become yet another exemplar of skiing’s diversity as he transitions to some of the world’s most consequential ski terrain. (But, you know, he still might unpack a backcountry triple, just for the hell of it.)

This year Jacob marked two anniversaries: 30 years on the planet, and 15 years as a sponsored skier. To honor the moment, he give us “Full Circle” to show where he’s been, and where he’s going.
