Starring Jake Mageau and assembled by Brady Perron, “Freehand” is not your everyday hard-hitting solo project filled with larger-than-life spots and tricks. There are no massive booters or huge rails; in fact, there appear to have been very few, if any, shovels involved in the making of this video. Upon reflection, perhaps that is exactly what the title implies: freehand skiing on the features that nature has served up, without the influence of man upon the terrain.  Instead of sculpted lips and pre-rehearsed motions, we get an unadulterated view of Mr. Mango doing what he does best: discovering new ways to enjoy the act of skiing.
