If you want to experience the most beautiful days of winter at the Snowpark Gastein, NOW’s the time.
Freeskier Max Heider virtually lives at the Snowpark Gastein and, therefore, it’s no problem for him to draw comparisons between the current and the past setups. “The park’s in brilliant shape this year. Thanks to the parklift you’re able to ride lap after lap without ever really having to queue up. The slopes are always in great condition and also stay that way because of the location.” Hence, if you’re planning to celebrate the arrival of spring in the mountains in style, you certainly won’t regret coming to Gastein.

Supported by park designer Basti Adam, two shaperesses were drawing the attention of the visitors this season; Kerstin Tulnik and Maria Maya Kis-Simon. Max Heider supports the idea of girls in the shaper business: “It’s great that girls are shaping parks. Actually, there’s no difference if girls or boys are doing the work. Girls might be a bit more on the perfectionist side of things, though. However, what counts is that the shapers are experienced riders, because, for instance, only that way they know what the takeoffs should be like.” Three cheers for our shapers – no matter if male or female. We’re eagerly looking forward to countless runs at the Snowpark Gastein during the spring sessions of the season 2015/16!
