X Games Norway is currently underway in Oslo’s Telenor Arena.

Alongside skateboarding, Moto X and snowboarding, freeskiing is also on the program at the X Games’ one-day sojourn in the Norwegian capital. It was a tight fit squeezing a Big Air ramp into the arena — organizers had to remove a roof panel just to make room for the inrun — but it works, at least well enough for a good old-fashioned scaffolding jump throwdown on a warm August day.

The men’s qualification round just wrapped up with Alex Hall taking the top qualifying spot, followed by Birk Ruud and Evan McEachran. Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, Henrik Harlaut and Christian Nummedal rounded out the top six skiers who will advance to tonight’s final.
