Jonah Williams stars in an aesthetic, thought-provoking offering from Andrew Mildenberger.
Memento Mori is a latin trope that acts as a reminder of the inevitability of death, sometimes depicted artistically by images of wilted flowers. These two words in the description of the video may pose more questions than they answer, but maybe that’s the point.
Contrary to its morbid initial connotation, the phrase serves as a reminder to live every day to the fullest, to live in the present and that tomorrow is not guaranteed. Jonah made the most of every day of the season, seeking out fulfillment and seeing the flowers.
