The Dachstein Superpark is open!

The first snowfalls across the Alps have fueled all our winter fantasies even more. While it remained a short, snowy interlude in many higher altitudes, the Dachstein glacier deeply dipped into a magical winter wonderland and celebrated the Austrian national holiday with all due shred-honors: The infamous Superpark Dachstein opened its doors on October 26 and now all of you are invited to ride the first sessions in this fall season. Here comes all further information about setup plans. As soon as temperatures fall, one topic is in everyone’s mouth: When will the season start at Superpark Dachstein? The nerve-racking time of waiting is finally over! In light of the Austrian national holiday, the glacier park in the region of Schladming-Dachstein prepared itself for some serious and honorable shredding. Park designer Andi Röck and his crew carefully breathed new freestyle life into the Superpark Dachstein. Since the 26th of October it is alive again and ready to welcome all freeskiers who are following the call of winter and eagerly are waiting to ride the first setup. And we can tell the crew’s motivation can hardly be restrained. Being asked what he was looking forward the most after this year’s summer break, Andi bursts out in excitement: “Snow! Clearing snow! Building stuff! Shredding and friends, you didn’t see at all or just barely during summer.” The preconditions for more legendary sessions on Dachstein glacier are set – check out the first setup here. Needless to say, this is just the start – the renowned park designer never lacks inspiration for his “D-Stone”: “As a park designer you always have some ideas in the back of your head, just waiting for a chance to be realized.” Check out the freeski season teaser and get ready for the first sessions.
