The Freeride World Tour has revealed its 2027 roster, and there’s no shortage of former champions, hungry challengers and exciting fresh faces making up what might be the heaviest FWT roster ever.
Ben Richards dominated the 2026 season, taking both the overall FWT title and the FIS Freeride World Championship. He’ll return to a field featuring four former Tour champions, including 2025 winner Marcus Goguen, 2024 champion Max Hitzig and 2022 champion Maxime Chabloz.
American duo Toby Rafford and Ross Tester, who finished second and third overall last season, will also be looking to close the gap. Meanwhile, Swedish wildcard Max Palm returns to the Tour alongside Swiss wildcard Martin Bender, adding even more fire power to an already stacked field.
The Ski Women category looks equally open. Defending champion Lou Barin returns after claiming the title in her rookie season, with runner-up Sybille Blanjean and seasoned Canadian Justine Dufour-Lapointe among those hoping to take the crown from her.
There’s also a new generation coming through the Challenger ranks. Mila de Le Rue, Hannah Baldwin and Mia McNab have earned their places on the Tour, while wildcards Astrid Cheylus and Zuzanna Witych add even more depth to the women’s field. Witych arrives as the 2026 FIS Freeride World Champion.
With 11 rookies joining the wider 2027 Tour roster and a lineup packed with former champions, and freeride superstars, the next season is shaping up to be a battle between established names and the next wave of freeride talent, making this season the most intriguing in recent memory.
