Armada Goes Touring
Following the launch of its first ski boot, the AR ONE, Armada is expanding into touring with the new AR ONE AF, or “Ascent Feature.”
The boot retains the hybrid cabrio construction of the AR ONE but adds touring functionality, creating a boot designed to bridge the gap between resort skiing and human-powered missions.
It will be available in 110 and 130 flex options, with sizes ranging from 23.5 to 29.5.
The AR ONE AF is another indication that Armada is looking to expand beyond its traditional freestyle roots, while retaining the design language and skiing characteristics of the AR ONE platform.
A New Apparel
Armada is also using the 2026/27 season to rethink its apparel offering.
With the brand now officially adding snowboards to its product line, Armada says it has taken the opportunity to broaden its apparel direction to work for skiers and snowboarders alike.
The new collection ranges from the unisex three-layer Chromatic kit to the more workwear-inspired Gas Up collection, with a greater emphasis on fit and style alongside the technical side of the clothing.
There are also plenty of less technical pieces in the mix, including heavyweight puffers, anoraks and fleece, alongside a new range of accessories including beanies, gloves, mittens, tote bags and cross-body bags.
New Website, New Direction
The whole collection is now housed on Armada’s new website, ArmadaSnow.com, which brings the brand’s ski and newly introduced snowboard products together.
With the addition of snowboards, a new freeride ski family, touring boots and a broader apparel direction, the 2026/27 collection marks a fairly significant expansion of Armada’s product offering—while the AntiMatter series in particular looks set to be the centrepiece of the new ski range.
