The FIS Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance just dropped its 2026 calendar, and Alaska is back for the first time since 2017 with a new stop in Haines.
Returning for the 19th time, this year’s tour features six stops, including two finals taking place across Europe and North America. After the first four events, only the top 60% of riders will make “The Cut” with rankings determined by each athletes’ three best results. The best of the best will move on to the business end of the season, to the finals in the most iconic freeride locations in the world: Alaska and Verbier.
Every stop will present the world’s best with unique freeride challenges. Here’s how the season shakes out:
Stop 1: Baqueira Beret Pro, Spain
16–21 January
Stop 2: Val Thorens Pro, France
24–29 January
Stop 3: Georgia Pro, Tetnuldi, Georgia
22–28 February
Stop 4: Fieberbrunn Pro, Austria
5–10 March
Finals 1: YETI Alaska Haines Pro, USA
15–22 March
Finals 2: YETI Xtreme Verbier, Switzerland
28 March-5 April
Two wild finals, one overall title, and a return to big-mountain glory in Haines—FWT 2026 is locked and loaded.
Stay tuned for weather windows, wild lines, and the world’s best freeriders sending it.
