Heads up freestyle fiends, there’s a new sheriff in town. With an expansive infrastructure ranging from the Alaïa Bay wave pool in the valley to the Alaïa Parks snowpark at Crans-Montana, the Alaïa Group is your new go-to destination in western Switzerland for all things action sports. From year-round surfing and skating to a snowpark that’s open from December until June, Alaïa has everything you need to get your groove on.
In the winter, the main park at Cry-d'Er offers creative snowpark layouts for riders of all abilities.
The Crans-Montana snowpark is considered a benchmark in Switzerland. It’s one of the largest, and one of just a handful with an Olympic-sized halfpipe. And the best thing about Alaïa Parks by Tudor is that it is open from December to early June. From December, the lines open gradually, depending on the snowfall, with the Cry-d’Er area first, then the minipark at a place called “Mérignou.” At the end of the season, from May to June, the snowpark moves to the Plaine Morte glacier where many national teams come to train.

The fun doesn’t end with the snowpark, however. The Alaïa infrastructure also includes Switzerland’s first artificial wave pool at Alaïa Bay, a short drive away from Crans-Montana, as well as the massive indoor/outdoor skate facility at Alaïa Chalet. You can also go wakeboarding on nearby Lac Léman with Alaïa Wakesurf, and rest your head at night at the Alaïa Lodge. In short, Alaïa offers everything you need for an unforgettable experience. Special passes are available to maximize your visit—the Spring Pass, which gets you access to the snowpark as well as Alaïa Chalet for skate sessions afterwards, is a favorite among skiers.
