The time never stands still in Schöneben at Reschenpass. It’s only been a month since the first pro-shoot of this season and only recently the Battle ROJal took place here. Now there’s already brand-new video and photo footage for you to check out.
Last weekend another riders’ session accompanied by cameras took place at the fully equipped snowpark, which concluded in a freeski edit as well as a pic gallery.
Park designer Moritz Klammer and his crew certainly don’t like to compromise. 44 Features are waiting to be ripped at the Snowpark Schöneben. You’ll find various kinds of rails, boxes and tubes and, last but not least, the mighty kicker line – it consists of 16 jumps altogether with tables between 3 and 12 meters length. Hence, it’s the perfect playground for the freeskiers Elias Pöham, Flo Ribis, Lorenz Pöham, Michi Tschallener and Peter Tschallener.
“Actually I’d have preferred to join the shred action myself” filmer Raphael Pöham chuckles. “The park is completed and, as always, perfectly shaped. There are loads of different elements for beginners and for advanced riders as well – the 2 kicker line for example. Unfortunately it got a bit windy in the afternoon, that’s why we had to get away from the kickers for a bit.” Photographer Felix Pirker was impressed by the wide range of possibilities for the photo session. “The park’s huge, the setup’s fantastic and the weather was perfect – so, all in all, pretty good conditions for cool pictures.”
When you ask the riders about their conclusion, it becomes clear quite quickly that they all enjoyed the park’s diversity. “Besides, I think it’s cool that you’re able to take long lines – that’s really fun.” Freeskier Michi Tschallener is convinced by the setup as well, “There’s so many possibilities how to ride the features; you can take on the 4 kickers and ride the rails afterwards, or you can just take on the rails – each run offers new possibilities.”
The twintip clip is certainly an eye-catcher. Plus, you can also have a look at the gallery. For all the information and news on the Snowpark Schöneben check out the park website and Facebook.
