With its popular glacier snowparks and camps, Oregon’s Mt. Hood is no stranger to ski customers in the summer months. Few of them, however, go as hard as Hunter Hess and Alex Hall did last summer while filming “Magma.” In fact, it might well be that no one’s gone this hard on a Hood summer since Sammy Carlson’s “On Top of the Hood” back in 2011.
