Nine years ago, the Legs of Steel crew headed for the Kaunertal Glacier in Austria for a spring park shoot on a special triple-jump feature. The resulting segment would turn out to be one of the more memorable moments in European freeski history, with mind-boggling footage of multiple riders in the air at once, and more super slow motion (it was a different time, folks) than you can shake a stick at. The finale train shot certainly goes down as as one of the craziest ski shots ever filmed. Big shoutout to the legends in this shoot: Lolo Favre, Bene Mayr, Thomas Hlawitschka, Toni Höllwart, Lucas and Tobi Mangold, Tobi Tritscher, Fabio Studer, Antti Ollila, Elvis Harsheim, Oscar Scherlin, Nico Zacek and Sebi Geiger.

If this Kaunertal segment has you feeling nostalgic, the full 2011 Legs of Steel film Nothing Else Matters is available to watch for free here.
