Freeriders from 15 years and up: The dates of the coveted Freeridecamps.at are fixed. Snowboarders and freeskiers soak up the experience of Pro Riders and coaches such as Vice World Champion Flo Orley, Matthias Haunholder, Chris Schnabel or Melissa Presslaber. The two-day camps are free of charge. Within three levels, the topics and needs of the camps advance from ‘first steps’ to independence in the open terrain and specific preparation for the contest scene. The fundamental goal of the camps is for participant young Freeriders to be informed and attentive to the dangers of the sport. The first Rossignol Junior Camp will take place on 14/15 January 2017 in Westendorf.
For those over 18 years or having completed a Junior Camp, the Rossignol Advanced Camp in Fieberbrunn, will offer further safety content.
The Line Camps coordinated by Flo Orley are the ‘royal class’ of the camps. Orley: “There we support the participants to reach their next level in the backcountry and prepare themselves optimally for competitions.”
The Junior and Advanced Camps include ski pass, LVS equipment and Rossignol ski test facilities free of charge for participants. The following partners have enabled this: Raiffeisen Club, Blue Tomato, Rossignol, Sweet Protection, Ortovox, ABS, Recco and Sportunion Tirol as well as our ski area partners.
