The new owner of Jon's custom Audi is not stoked at all.

Latest news from the Jon Olsson department: somebody has heisted and torched the Swedish skier-slash-car designer-slash-driver’s highly customized Audi RS6 DTM in the Netherlands.

According to news reports and Jon’s blog, the nearly 1000-horsepower RS6, modified in the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, aka German Touring Car Masters) style, was heisted at gunpoint late Wednesday evening in East Amsterdam while its new owner, Douwe Leiter, was preparing to film a promotional video with the car. Reportedly no one was injured in the incident.

Evidently realizing that they couldn’t re-start the car, the armed thieves set fire to Jon and Douwe’s baby in a parking complex, where its smoking wreckage was found soon afterwards.

Poor poor #RS6DTM Such a sad sight! Who would do such a thing! #hurtsmyheart A photo posted by Jonolsson1 (@jonolsson1) on

“Feels so sad to see the pictures of the car I spend a million hours imagining and building being completely destroyed!” Jon wrote on his blog. “Kind of hard to believe…” But he didn’t have too much time to lament: “First training for TT Cup tomorrow so I should probably focus on that.”
