Shredding knows neither language barriers nor borders!

Shredding knows neither language barriers nor borders! This has become once more evident with last Saturday’s event at the Snowpark Gstaad, when park-girls from all directions hit the Girls Shred Session in Western Switzerland. Trans-European shred friendships were made and not only covered medially, but also celebrated with fine trick fireworks.

Thumbs up for the session
Anyone who has already taken part in a Girls Shred Session knows that the main focus is riding together and exchanging tips and tricks. The girls did not need to be told twice and headed from Spain, France, Austria and Switzerland to the charming Bernese Oberland. Spain? Yep, exactly! Irene Pachan definitely had to cover the longest distance and after her train had stopped in nowhereland, she decided that hitchhiking was her only chance! “I absolutely wanted to be part of the event, so I had to take some unconventional measures,” she explains.

Allez Allez – nice one!
Total motivation was also shown when ripping the boxes-line, the riders unwinded their trick repertoire under Anglo-French cheering. Meanwhile, the QParks Media crew was always focusing on the girls during the whole event so the spins and slides will be present in a fine clip. Even after a short break in the lodge, the law of gravity was suspended again and the girls rocked the kicker line. The girls ended up embracing not only a tightly packed goodie bag and new tricks, but also shred friends from different corners of the Alps.

The Snowpark Gstaad was thus sufficiently tested and rated with the girls predicate “very good”. You want to re-examine the setup? Here you find the current park status and all other information. The Snowpark Gstaad is also available as an app for Android and iOS phones. Upcoming Girls Shred Sessions are always announced on Facebook.
