Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, or ABM as he’s more commonly known, is an absolute savage when it comes to street skiing. He’s one of few skiers today who can transfer seamlessly from the world’s biggest contest venue to some of the world’s gnarliest urban setups while excelling at both. ABM’s new short film “Avenue” documents that drive to succeed, by taking a page from his Quebecois contemporary Phil Casabon and expanding his quick-and-dirty street segment filmed for X Games Real Ski, and expanding it into a full 15-minute exploration of the hustle mentality. “Avenue” is without a doubt one of the finer pieces of street skiing filmmaking you’ll see this year, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
