Since 2010 the GORE-TEX® Experience Tour has brought outdoor professionals together with enthusiasts to share knowledge and passion during unique excursions. Its latest Experience, called “Ride and Surf Lofoten,” offers one lucky winner the chance to shred the fjords of Norway on both skis and a surfboard for four days in April 2016.

Lofoten is renowned as a skier’s paradise, with dreamy powder slopes dropping thousands of vertical meters directly to the ocean below and a snow season running well into the summer. Alongside German freeski veteran Nico Zacek, French freeride legend Seb Michaud, Canadian ski-touring superman Greg Hill and big wave surfer Sebastian Steudtner, the winner of the Ride and Surf Lofoten trip will get to sample the best of both worlds, from the peaks above to the breaks below.

“It has always been one of my biggest dreams to combine a powder trip with surfing. However, this is rarely possible,” says veteran German freeski pro Nico Zacek. “Finally, I have the opportunity to share my passion for my two favorite sports with the participants during one trip. I am really looking forward to it!”
