Daydream | Yann Rausis and friends search for a perfect pow day
Wouldn’t even be a stretch to say that every ski bum’s considered buying a van, living off the grid and chasing storms around all winter. Yann Rausis is one of the lucky few actually living that dream.
This short film documents his journey searching for the perfect pow day in Swiss Alps accompanied by Sam Anthamatten and Simon Charriere. Plenty of gnarly skiing and beautiful scenery spiced up with animated drawings make for a classic feel-good ski vid. Definitely worth a watch. Enjoy!

Yann and his van set out on a lifelong mission to search for the perfect powder day, as they become rarer. At a bend in a mountain road, he welcomes a character on board. This man, armed with his sketchbook and skis, brings the mountains to life with his artistic tools. From here, these two new friends navigate between dream and reality on ever more beautiful and aerial slopes.
Will Yann reach his ultimate dream? “Daydream” is a creative mountain film project blending animation from a wandering mind and film sequences shot on-location.
