Work during the day, ski and party at night. Innsbruck's new Nocturning Society offers a new opportunity to combine skiing with the daily grind.

We at Downdays are proud to present a special new collaboration with black crows: The Noctouring Society, Austria’s first after-work ski touring club.
It’s the hard truth: not all of us are students anymore with the free time to go skiing during the work week. But for the 9-to-5 workers out there who still want to get some turns after clocking out, the Noctouring Society offers the chance to get out into the great terrain in the greater Innsbruck area, with relaxed evening tours (on-mountain snacks and drinks included) and the latest equipment from black crows to available to test.
“With us it’s not about the speed record, and there’s no prize for the first person to the hut,” says group founder Stefan Schmitt. “We want to create great evenings together with like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere. Stay relaxed – stress is for the office!”
To get information on the latest excursions, join the Noctouring Society Facebook group, and don’t miss the launch party in Innsbruck on December 14, after 6pm in Hitt und Söhne.
