When I picked Vincent Gagnier as a rider to follow at the Frostgun Invitational, I was betting on the right horse.

My goal was to follow Vincent Gagnier throughout his entire day at the Frostgun Invitational, so my day started early at… 11am. Vinnie chatted with his roommates about the previous night’s events, answered some questions, then took a nap, reappearing later at the rider’s meeting (where he arrived late).

Vinnie found no reason to take any practice jumps or go skiing. “We’ll ski enough during the finals,” he said. And it looks like his strategy worked—Vinnie took the win at Frostgun, confirming his current leadership in the big air world. This video follows Vinnie through the special atmosphere of Frostgun, which is about way more than just skiing.
