Austrian freerider And Scott team rider Fabian Lentsch has made it his mission to seek out the world’s lesser known freeride spots while immersing himself in the local culture. It’s an impulse Fully documented in his latest exploit: a full year spent living and skiing in Iran.

Together with his rag-tag freeride crew the Snowmads, Fabi’s drive to explore has carried him to unconventional freeride hidden gems like Albania, Greece, and Turkey. His new film A Foreign Native is Fabi’s most ambitious project yet, a documentary of his year spent living in Tehran while exploring the bountiful ski terrain surrounding Iran’s capital.

A skiing documentary never seen before. The feature-length NINE&ONE film in co-production with Red Bull Media House reflects Austrian pro skier Fabian Lentsch’s year in Iran, an epic tale of perseverance, friendship and Persian powder.
