It’s a commonly accepted fact that Alex Hall is a freak of nature. Yet watching his athlete edit from Faction’s 2019 movie “The Collective,” one is tempted to go even further—to posit that this skill set is, in fact, unnatural. Basically what I’m trying to get at here is that Alex Hall might actually be an alien, sent by mysterious powers to educate us in the ways of mind-melting urban shots, physics-defying jump tricks and of course, seatbelt grabs.
