The last few years have seen leaps and bounds in the progression of women’s freeskiing, making it one of the most fun areas of the sport to watch. Last month, Swiss shredder Mathilde Gremaud raised the ante significantly by landing the world’s first switch double cork 1440 by a woman. Now the only questions are: will she be able to put it down in a competitive venue? And if so, who’s going to be able to keep up?

On Monday, September 14, 2020, Mathilde Gremaude put down the first-ever female Switch Double Cork 1440 in the history of skiing. From visualizing the trick in her mind, to training it on the airbag and finally pulling it off at Saas Fee: Press play and watch Mathilde write skiing history.
