A pioneer of women’s skiing in her generation, Swedish freerider Matilda Rapaport was known for bold, hard-charging descents of daunting faces from Switzerland to Alaska. From freeride contests to films, she was everpresent in the sport until an untimely avalanche accident in 2016 claimed her life. A new film from Peak Performance produced by Hedvig Wessel pays tribute to Matilda and her outsize influence.
