After helping to design Völkl’s new Revolt 121 ski the previous year, the Legs of Steel crew needed a way to present their new plank to the world. And what better way to do that than by making a good old-fashioned ski movie? That’s just what the crew did, rallying riders from the diverse talents of the Völkl freeski team for three major shoots last winter in Japan, Austria and Switzerland. Whether it’s backcountry booters, bottomless powder turns or rowdy freeride lines that get you all hot and bothered, you’ll find plenty of them all in 121.
121 – A ski movie by Legs Of Steel in association with Absolute Cine.
It’s often easy to overthink a ski movie and at times the reasoning behind it.
The plan was simple. Focus on skiing, go where we want and do what we want. Jumps, lines and deep powder. This is an old school flick, plain and simple. It’s about friendship and freeskiing, one to one with some of the best powder hounds around…
